    EL Paso Supports CWIhosting.com

    Tuesday, October 30, 2007, 04:37 PM [General]

CWI has been in business for 10 years now, an important milestone for us in the ever-changing online world. Though founded in El Paso as an internet technology service provider, for many years the vast majority of CWI's business, nearly all of it really, was from national and international clients outside of the area.

In the last 3 years however, we have seen explosive growth and interest in our services from within EL Paso, and I think this is in large part a reflection of important change in this area. As the "online generation", and the early adopters of the internet mature, technology is also quickly becoming second nature to our children.

As a provider of business website services, it seems that EL Paso is starting to close the gap with the rest of the country, and local small businesses are starting to see the value that technology and the internet can bring to their companies. We are seeing this to the point that CWI is planning a new regional based website for our Texas clients that will prominently feature El Paso.

We would like your help however. If anyone has a camcorder and some free time, we would like to include some tribute video on this site to highlight what EL Paso has to offer and is about. CWI would like to offer $300 for the best video for videos we get by January 1st, which we will feature on our site. If you have any questions, post them here. I have posted an example tribute I found online:
