    About Me: A number of words could describe me quite easily, among them 'shy,' 'introverted,' and 'weird.' The first two are my defining characteristics, at least to people who don't interact with me. The last, weird, is one that many would try to deny; I embrace it, for it is that which makes me unique. Back in Ohio, it came across most strongly in that I always wore shorts, even when there was snow on the ground. The other aspects of my own particular brand of weirdness come from my occasional comments referencing parallel dimensions, fiction becoming reality, or other such items.

    My other defining characteristic is one that is ever more rare in today's world: that of the nice guy. To me, at least, chivalry is not a dead concept, nor is romanticism. Or rather, they should not be dead, even if most of the world has abandoned them and now favors mindless sex to long-lasting, meaningful relationships.

    Other things: Reading is one of my favorite pastimes, and while I mainly read sci-fi/fantasy, I read from pretty much all genres. I also enjoy writing, though I tend to procrastinate and not actually get my ideas written. I'm not really big into politics, but there are a few issues I feel rather strongly about: the envirionment (wolves in particular), the space program, and the advance of science.

    Things I collect: Wolves (obviously) and DVDs (of which I have quite a large number). I also have a few swords, and when combined with my dad's, I also have quite a few books.

    On to the boring part of my bio:

    I was born on March 30, 1984 in Flint, Michigan and lived next door in Burton, MI until halfway through my 8th grade year, where we saw a brief 6-month stint in Fayetteville, GA. High school passed in Chillicothe, OH, and after I graduated, we moved to Dayton, OH, from there coming to El Paso at the end of July 2005. 'Twas here where I met the wonderful Claudia Malagon, and we've together since February 2006.
    Music: Aerosmith, Weird Al, Chumbawamba, Disturbed, Liquid Cheese, pretty much anything except country or rap, though there are a few exceptions. At the moment, I'm really into jazz fusion (jazz+funk), among those are Robert Walter, Soullive, Down to the Bone, and Stanton Moore. Also on a Panic! At The Disco kick right now too, it's catchy and lodges itself easily in the memory.
    Movies: James Bond movies, Lord of the Rings, Final Destination, Jurassic Park, Land Before Time, Lilo and Stitch, Lion King, Minority Report, The Truman Show, UHF, Sin City, Saw, The Terminal, spoof movies (a la Airplane or Hot Shots), many others.
    TV: Boston Legal, Heroes, Lost, Scrubs, Pushing Daisies, Bionic Woman, Chuc, Back To You, Dexter, Gilmore Girls, Alias, Sliders, Wonderfalls, Dead Like Me, The X-Files, The Time Tunnel, and Futurama, Star Trek, Whose Line Is It Anyway, among others I'm sure I forgot.
    Books: The Three Worlds series by Ian Irvine, China Mieville's books, Necroscope series by Brian Lumley, Dystopian works (1984, Brave New World, etc), anything by Philip Jose Farmer, Robert Sheckley, Chronicles of Amber, the Night Watch series, Discworld, Les Miserables, H.G. Wells works, Crime and Punishment, many others.
